When we say “we,” “us,” and “APPLYment,” we are referring to APPLYment LLC d/b/a APPLYment, a State of Mississippi limited liability company. We provide online hiring management software (the “Service”). When we say “you” or “user” or “applicant(s)”, we’re referring to the person or entity that’s registered with us to use the Service. We may combine information about you or your users/applicants with information provided by other users/applicants or third parties to create ”Aggregate Information,” which may include, but isn’t limited to, names, email addresses, demographic information, IP addresses and location.
A. Information That You Provide Us: If you use our Site or Services, you may be required to provide us certain information. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Services, subscribing to our Services, posting data or
requesting further services, filling out applications; information provided when you report a problem with our Site or Services; records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us; your responses
to questions or surveys that we might ask; information obtained through your Facebook or other social network account if you register through Facebook; the information may include your and your Subscribers’ IP address, name, physical
address, email address, phone number, credit card information, operating system, as well as details like gender, occupation, location, birth date, and other demographic information. By giving us this information, you consent to your

Information Collected Automatically: We may get information about how and when you use the Site, store it in log files associated with your account, and link it to other information we collect about you. This information may include, for example, your IP address, time, date, browser used, and actions you’ve taken within the Site. The information we collect automatically is statistical data and may or may not include personal information, but we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve and to deliver better and more personalized Services.
C. Information We Collect From Other Sources: We may also collect information about you from third parties, including but not limited to third-party verification services, credit bureaus, motor vehicle reporting services, mailing list providers, and publicly available sources.
D. Employment Applications or Inquiries: If you are applying for a job with APPLYment, you may provide us with information about yourself, such as a resume or curriculum vitae. In addition to other uses disclosed in this privacy statement, we may use this information throughout APPLYment and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates for the purpose of employment consideration, availability or otherwise for APPLYment customers, and other third parties.
E. Geo-Location Data: We may collect information regarding your location, through the Google Maps API or otherwise.
F. Cookies and Tracking: When you use APPLYment, we may store “cookies,” “tags,” or “scripts,” which are strings of code, on your computer. We and our analytics Service Providers (like Google) use those cookies to collect information about your visit and your use of our Website or Services. You may turn off cookies that have been placed on your computer by following the instructions on your browser, but if you block cookies, it may be more difficult (and maybe even impossible) to use some aspects of APPLYment.
G. Web Beacons: When we send emails to users, we may track behavior such as who opened the emails and who clicked the links. We do that to measure the performance of our email campaigns and to improve our features for specific segments of users. To do this, we include single pixel gifs, also called web beacons, in emails we send. Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other details. We also include Web Beacons in the emails we deliver for you. We use the data from those Web Beacons to create the reports about how your email campaign performed and what actions users took. Reports are also available to us when we send an email to you, so we may collect and review that information.
H. Information from Other Sources: We may get more information about you, like name, age, and use of social media websites, by searching the internet or querying third parties. We use this additional information to develop features that help all parties take advantage of the APPLYment platform.
I. Information from the use of our Mobile App: We may collect information about the type of device and operating system you use when you use our mobile app,. We may ask you if you want to receive push notifications about activity in your account. If you opt in to these notifications and no longer want to receive them, you may turn them off through your operating system. Totally up to you. We don’t access or track any location-based information from your mobile device unless you’ve given us permission. There may be instances where we use mobile analytics software (like Fabric.io) to help us better understand how people use our application.
Personal information you provide to APPLYment through our Site or Services will not be shared outside of APPLYment without your permission. We may use and disclose your Personal Information as follows:
A. To Promote Use of Our Services: For example, if you leave your Personal Information when you visit our site and don’t sign up for any of the services or apply for a job, we may send you an email asking if you want to sign up for services or apply for a job. And if you use any of our Services and we think you might benefit from using another Service we offer, we may send you an email about it. You can stop receiving our promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email we send.
B. To Send You Info and Promotional Content That You May Choose (or “opt in”) To Receive: You should know this by now, but you can stop receiving our promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email.
C. To Service Providers: APPLYment contracts with other companies to provide services on our behalf, like the hosting of our Site, sending out information, processing transactions, advertising, and analyzing our Site and Services. We provide these companies with only those necessary elements of your personal information needed to deliver those services. These companies and their employees are prohibited from using that personal information for any other purpose.
D. Connected to Transactions: In connection with certain transactions, we may disclose some or all of your personal information to financial institutions, government entities, and shipping companies or postal services involved in fulfillment.
E. Connected with acquisitions or divestitures: Circumstances may arise where APPLYment decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize. Such a transaction may involve the disclosure of personal information to prospective or actual purchasers or investors. APPLYment will seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions..
F. The Billing & Collection of Money Owed APPLYment: This includes sending you emails, invoices, receipts, notices of delinquency, and alerting you if we need a different credit card number. We use third parties for secure credit card transaction processing, and we send billing information to those third parties to process your orders and credit card payments.
H. Other Reasons: APPLYment may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or with legal process served on us, to protect and defend our rights or property, or in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of any individual, to communication with you about your account and providing customer support, developing tools and algorithms that help us prevent violations, to provide support and improve the Services we offer, and to provide suggestions to you.
As you use our Services, you may import into our system personal information you’ve collected from your Applicants/Employees. We have no direct relationship with your Applicants/Employees, and you’re responsible for making sure you have the appropriate permission for us to collect, store, and/or process the information about those individuals. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our Services (“Service Providers.”) All Service Providers enter into a contract with us that protects personal data and restricts their use of any personal data in line with this policy. As part of our Services, we may use and incorporate into features information you’ve provided or we’ve collected as Aggregate Information. We may share this Aggregate Information, including email addresses, with third parties in line with the approved uses in Section 5.
We’ll retain personal data we process on behalf of our Users for as long as needed to provide services to our Users or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
A. Blog: We may develop or have public blogs on our Site. Any information you include in a comment on our blog may be read, collected, and used by anyone. If your Personal Information appears on our blogs and you want it removed, contact us. If we’re unable to remove your information, we’ll let you know why.
B. Social Media Platforms & Widgets: Our Site may include social media features, like the Facebook Like button. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you’re visiting on our site, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. We also maintain presences on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.
C. Links to Third-Party Sites: Our Site may include links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from APPLYment’s. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. It might be smart to read their privacy policies.
Your Application Database(s) are stored on a secure server. We don’t, under any circumstances, sell your Database List(s). If someone on your Database List complains or contacts us, we might then contact you. Only authorized APPLYment employees have access to view the Database Lists.
We may derive Aggregate Information from your Database List and will use that information as described above. If we detect abusive or illegal behavior related to your Database List, we may share your Database List or portions of it with affected ISPs or anti-spam organizations.
APPLYment is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, but Nobody is safe from hackers. If a security breach causes an unauthorized intrusion into our system that materially affects you, then APPLYment will notify you as soon as possible and later report the action we took in response.

APPLYment accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party.
Our servers and offices are located in the United States, so your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States. While the data protection, privacy, and other laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country, we take many steps to protect your privacy. By using our Sites, you understand and consent to the collection, storage, processing, and transfer of your information to our facilities in the United States and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this policy.
If you are a California resident, you can request a notice disclosing the categories of personal information we have shared, if any, with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
